Platinum group metals, referred to as PGMs are considered as rare precious metals that are used in various applications. These raw products are used in jewelry, dentistry, medicine, hydrogen purification, electronics, fuel cells, auto catalysts and coinage. Outside the Russian Federation and in South Africa, the company is considered as the largest primary producer of these precious metals. The operations of the company are concentrated in the J-M Reef in southern Montana.
