Sherwin-Williams created the Paint Stores Group to take care of the Sherwin-Williams Stores. It was the first segment created within Sherwin-Williams. It sells the Sherwin-Williams brand paints and coatings. There are more than 3,900 paint stores worldwide.
To take care of the development, production and distribution of automotive finishes, Sherwin-Williams created the Sherwin-William Automotive Finishes Group. The division opened its 200th branch on September 21, 2007. Among its major products are automotive finishes and refinish products.
To ensure the worldwide distribution of Sherwin-Williams paints and coatings, the segment International Coatings was also created. At present, the company operates more than 80 paint stores through dealership and licensing.
Sherwin-Williams also operates the Sherwin-Williams Spray Source. Its service centers provide parts, accessories, and maintenance and repairs of equipments. Across the US and some parts of Latin America, Sherwin-Williams Spray Source has over 100 service centers.
