Sandvik Materials Technology leads the world in the production of value-added materials used in manufacturing advanced products, metal and ceramic resistance products and special alloys. Sandvik Mining has approximately 8,200 employees and contributes close to SEK 16,300 million.
As an engineering division, Sandvik Construction provides all kinds of solutions for the construction industry, including excavation, demolition, tunneling, rock quarrying, road construction, recycling, and all kinds of civil engineering works. Among its products are screening machineries, handling and crushing of bulk materials, drilling rigs and rock tools. This division contributes over SEK 9,200 million in sales. Close to 3,900 employees work for Sandvik Construction.
In order to create an environment of growth and profitability, Sandvik Venture focuses on specialized products and services where the market is attractive and growth is fast. Among the products of Sandvik Venture are Sandvik Process Systems, Dormer, Wolfram, Diamond Innovations, Sandvik Hard Materials, and Sandvik MedTech parts. This division’s annual sales are reported at SEK 8,100 million. This division’s employees are close to 4,100.
Sandvik Machining Solutions leads the world in the production of tools and tool systems used in advanced metal cutting. The products are produced in cement carbide such as cubic boron nitride, diamond and special ceramics. The division employs 18,500 workers. The division contributes SEK 28,200 million in annual sales.
Sandvik Mining is the world’s leading supplier of tools, equipment and other solutions used in the mining industry. Products and services include materials handling, rock crushing, and hauling, and rick drilling and cutting. The division has close to 13,200 and contributes SEK 32,200 million in annual sales.
