With aggregate rates ranging above 100 Gigabits per second (Gbps), their solutions are able to eliminate critical data throughput and access bottlenecks in leading edge applications. With this speed, they are able to deliver speed and intelligence on line cards and systems with precision. This result to improved performance and feature while reducing pin count, area, system level power and costs. Customers of the business include foundries, a wide range of IDMs, and several fabless semiconductor companies. Their products and services are used in general computing, storage systems, consumer products, graphics systems and networking.
By the end of their 2010 fiscal year, the company reported to have shipped over 370 million devices with their products inside. These products range from mobile consumer devices to home entertainment systems. It also includes data storage systems, graphics systems and networking. Prior to their 2012 operations, MoSys sold high-performance embedded DRAM under IP cores. These products were marketed under the names 1T-SRAM, SerDes cores and DDR interface IP. Popular products like the Nintedo GameCube and Wii game consoles use the MoSys 1T-SRAM memory IP.
Today, the products marketed by MoSys are categorized into two: LineSpeed family of integrated circuits and Bandwidth Engine family of integrated circuits. The latter area high density serial memory devices that features a combination of their 1T-SRAM and their high-speed serial SerDes interface technology. The former are high-speed CMOS PHY signal integrity solutions that are used for communications, data center, computing, storage applications and networking. These devices are capable of supporting data rates of up to 28 Gbit/s.
