This is what software development company Intuit believes. People who do things such as those who have mastered the art of getting things done better, faster and more efficiently has inspired Intuit to create pieces of software that are based on action and results.
For almost three decades now, Intuit has been at the forefront of innovation. Because the world is not on a standstill, Inuit is into developing new solutions to solve thriving problems; into perfecting those solutions so that clients are delighted. In other words, Intuit is committed to improve its clients’ lives so that they do not think about going back to the former way of doing things.
Intuit started with a personal finance Quicken in 1983. The goal of the first Quicken software was to simplify the household dilemma of balancing the family’s checkbook. For almost two decades now, the personal finance Quicken has improved over 50 million lives worldwide.
Aside from Quicken, Intuit has two other flagship products namely, TurboTax and QuickBooks. These software are designed to help small businesses manage their finances, prepare and manage tax payments, pay wages, and prepare financial reports. With a strong partnership with professional accountants, Intuit products have become a staple for many small businesses.
As financial services have moved to the cloud, Intuit has responded with a combination of desktop applications and online and mobile applications. For instance, Intuit has launched Mint.com which has helped more than 7 million people manage their finances and savings.
Another Intuit product that uses the cloud is Intuit Health. It has a patient portal that assists over 4.3 million patients and close to 49,000 US-based doctors to communicate closely and securely online. Intuit Financial Services is helping over 1,900 lending institutions and banks with financial solutions and services that help about 10.4 million clients in managing their finances.
At Intuit, innovation is not only about accounting and financials; it is not only about being competitive; it is not only about making history. It is taking the future today.
