iHub houses startups. Many freelancers take advantage of its free fast internet connections. Ambitious coders from all over Africa converge at iHub, which became their virtual office. Most of all, iHub served as the link for Kenyans with outside companies such as Intel and Microsoft.
On normal days, there are about 250 members that stop by iHub. These members get the chance to team up with other engineers to exchange ideas or negotiate business opportunities. iHub revives technology in Africa and slowly eliminating the negative notion that Africa’s technology is lagging behind in ambition, talent and ideas.
