Since its founding, Fuseproject has been recognized internationally. Solo exhibitions have been carried on in the Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts in Lausanne, Switzerland and in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Fuseproject was also featured in group exhibitions in the Munich Museum of Applied Arts, the Chicago Athenaeum Museum and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York.
Fuseproject was a recipient of over 50 awards from different organizations and award-giving bodies including the Industrial Designers Society of America. In 2004, the Business Week cited Fuseproject as the second best design firm. Its founder Yves Béhar was awarded the National Design Award for Industrial Design by the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. The Conde Nast Innovation and Design Awards also awarded Béhar as the Designer of the Year in 2011.
