As a global bio-chemical technology company, Dacheng is one of the first Chinese industrial agriculture companies to prioritize independence in innovation and development. Since its establishment, Dacheng is on a continuing research and development pursuit to produce value-added products using agricultural products as raw materials. Simultaneously, Dacheng is mastering its techniques in producing lysine. It has developed and produced protein lysine with 65% lysine and another one containing 70% lysine.
What is noteworthy with these products is their very low cost of production on top of being environment friendly and energy saving. As a result, these products lower the cost of importation in the local industry of animal feeds.
At present, Dacheng is the largest lysine producer in the world. The Group is also moving into in-depth research of the possibility that fermentation process could replace chemical synthesis in producing toxic-free and non-harmful methionine.
Dacheng is also responsible for developing polyol chemicals and is credited for a number of international patents. Using corn starch as raw materials, polyol chemicals can produce propylene glycol, ethylene glycol and butanediols. It was also known that polyol chemicals are excellent substitutes for petroleum-based chemical products because they possess several properties that petroleum-based chemical products do not have. Polyol chemicals are helpful to cosmetic, resin, polyester, textile and construction materials industries.
To show its commitment to keep the environment healthy, Dacheng uses corn straw was in producing glucose, which is used in producing polyol chemicals. One metric ton of corn yields close to 1.6 metric tons of corn straw.
