The two founders (K. “Suri” Suriyakumar and S. Mohan” Chandramohan) acquired Micro Device for $9 million. After they purchased four other similar businesses, they organized their properties and created the American Reprographics Company, L.L.C. in 1997. The business was able to penetrate metropolitan markets and conquered the majority of the states in the country through strategic acquisition. After the business got incorporated in Delaware, the company formally changed its name to ARC Document Solutions in 2012.
From a $9 million investment, the business has grown into a multi-million venture with annualized revenue of more than $450 million. Today, the company provides their technology and document related services to virtually all types of business. Riot Creative Imaging is the brand name that carries the color imaging services they offer both regionally and at the national level. ARC Document Solutions has strong presence in Canada, China, India, the United Kingdom and in the United States.
