Charlie Ditkoff, Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Vice Chairman of Global Corporate and Investment Banking, has spearheaded numerous proactive changes within the organization during the past decade. Utilizing his position to ensure that BAML continues to assert a positive influence in the context of today’s changing economy, Mr. Ditkoff recently acted as an expert speaker at a conference held by Leadership Health Care (LHC). An initiative that functions under the auspice of the Nashville Health Care Council, LHC connects leaders in Nashville’s health care industry with prominent financial executives such as Charlie Ditkoff. Establishing a forum for all participants to garner a better understanding of the fiscal mechanisms that drive major capital markets, the LHC 2011 Delegation to Wall Street featured two-and-a-half days of informative lectures and panel talks and an invitation-only gala hosted by John Seigenthaler, the current Chief Executive Officer of Seigenthaler Public Relations/New York.
In addition to Charlie Ditkoff, Leadership Health Care delegates who traveled to New York for the symposium had the opportunity to interact with Managing Directors from GE Healthcare and Financial Service, Deutsche Bank Securities, and CCMP Capital Advisors. Robert Teitelman, Editor-in-Chief of The Deal magazine, and Jeff Rosichan, the Vice Chairman of Equity Capital Markets for Deutsche Bank Securities, also shared their views on hot-button issues such as health care deal-making, approaches to raising private equity funding, mid-market and debt financing, and implementation of exit strategies.
